Chi is definitely the best straightener I've ever had, it's a little pricey though but a good investment especially if you have hair thats tough to straightenFlattening Iron----- i need to know what is a good and reliable brand to get a hair straightener from..?
Buy a T3 Tourmaline.

They are not as expensive as the other brands, but work just as well or better. I just got my hair straightened by a professional today with a $250 straightener, and my hair looks exactly the same with my T3. Also, Tourmaline doesn't damage hair as much, and T3 was best pick by Allure Magazine.

:)
Surprisingly enough, you want to use a nice thin straightener. With a thinner one, you can get closer to the roots of your hair and frizziness fades. I would go with Ion or Plugged. You can find these at Sally Beauty Supply which is probably the best place for anything that deals with hair or nails.

Good Luck:)
sedu - but its kinda expensive

i have a 1.5 inch one and it works really well

it heats up in a few seconds and i can straigten my hair in about 10 minutes (i have medium length hair)
